So yesterday morning it started with my alarm clock shouting to the top of it's lungs for me to awake and start the day. (First time I've used the alarm clock ALL vacation long!) It was for a good purpose though! I had to wake up at 7:00 so that I could go to Auburn and pick out my cosplay supplies before I went to Kalynn's house. (Since that was when I would be making my actual costume....) So after a 20 minute ride, my mom and I arrived at Lowes and started picking out house plants. We ended up getting two plants (including a Money Tree) and some flowers. Then after THAT, we went to Famous Footwear to pick out the sandals I needed for my cosplay, which actually didn't take too long! I also snagged some new black and white plaid sneakers. (My old sneakers are poor, old decrepid things....) 

THEN we went to Reed's Party Store because I needed to get a plain plastic mask to make my Anbu Black Op mask. And what do you figure? The only masks they DID have were these rubbery Halloween masks! (GO figure!) We weren't ready to give up yet though. I mean, how hard was it to find a PLAIN plastic mask?! So we thought, "Hmm, maybe there's some masks in a sport's store."  So anyway, we went to closest sport store and found that they don't make Jason masks anymore. So after even more frustration and little hope,  we went to the closest craft store. (Craft Mania.)

And finally, yes, FINALLY I found the mask I needed! And it was PERFECT too! We even found more Model Magic there! So after much content, we left the store with our items and drove home. The trip in Auburn lasted about 3-4 hours in total. (MORE than what we wanted!)

So anyway, my mom dropped me off at Kalynn's house with my items and I got to work! The only people who came:

Myself

and of course Kalynn... So after hours and hours of fun, nerdiness, and Mekyo Cosplay dedication, we got a lot done! I actually ended up making a sheath to go with Jeremy's bouken he's letting my borrow... Everything came out great! I still have to wait for my mask to dry for me to paint and color on it.

But seriously, geez!! Now I'm all tuckered out!

     Okay, okay.... So now that my weekend is basically over, I have decided to write about it! Compared to my typical weekend, I had MUCH more fun than usual.Usually my weekend schedule goes as this:

Get up
Eat
Go online
Go outside
Eat some more
Go back online
Talk to Raistlin
Eat again
Sleep

(Ya see? Pretty typical...)

But THIS weekend was different! I went to my friend Kalynn's house on Friday for a sleepover. (Friday was also a half day at school.) We (Kaylee, Kalynn, and I..) watched movies, played the Wii, hung out outside, and just played around. Then after THAT, I came home Saturday morning and basically spent that day relaxing, talking to Raistlin, and thinking of manga ideas..... Then yesterday, on Easter Sunday, I woke up at about 7:30 in the morning. (Woke everybody else up too, since I was the first to awake.) My brother and I ran downstairs to find our baskets under the table. And yes, I may be 15 years old, but I am NOT too old for an Easter basket!

But anywho!! I got some CHAWESOME things in my basket. I got loads of candy, a gray Twilight tote bag with Edward and Bella about to kiss on it, a dark pair of skinny jeans, a light blue t-shirt, a brown t-shirt with this design on it, and Berty Bott's Every Flavor Beans. Yes, I was quite content! Then after waiting another two hours or so, my parents finally decided that we start the egg hunt.. Since I DID find most of the eggs before my little brother, I gave him more to make sure he didn't feel too left out. (Isn't me NICE?!?!?) Then finally my dad told us that there were camoflauged eggs hiding outside with CASH in them. One of them containing a five dollar bill.... Now some people might not see that as spectacular, but trust me, I NEED the cash for my anime convention so I was all over finding it! So after about 40 minutes of trying to find the dang eggs, I finally found the five dollar one under this old pool thing with leaves around it. In total I had found 8 dollars..... (Not too shabby, eh?!) 

Later on that day I also colored and dyed some eggs with my mom. And that was pretty fun! We then soon ate our Easter dinner which consisted of Chicken, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and biscuits.... THEN we watched a Charlie brown Easter movie thing.... (Which was pretty cheesy...) THEN we ate desert. (Strawberry short cake....)

So the day ended on a good note and I slept right after I talked to my beloved for an hour....

And today.... I GET ANOTHER DAY OFF! So yes, this weekend had to be one of my favorites so far this year....

    Okay, so today I found out something that just made my day! My boyfriend Raistlin, whom I have been with for a year and a half now, is finally going to come to Maine.... THIS June! I guess his grandfather's mother is celebrating her birthday in Michigan so his grandmother and him are tagging along because his grandmother has days off from her job.... Which means.... SHE IS TAKING RAISTLIN TO MAINE!

WOO HOO!! 

I have been waiting SO long too!! I mean really, it's about TIME! Oh and this also means that he will MOST likely be coming with me to Portcon! (An anime convention in Portland...)

And it's right when school ends, so I won't have to worry about being at school while he's here!!! We're going to have so much fun, oh meh gash! This is going to be the best summer I've had.... EVER!
